Theme: Mystery of the Prism !!

Wave length of the electro magnetic waves (from gamma ray to long wave) is very different. From this difference, why the prism distinguish the slight difference of the visible rays (about 400Ѓ`800 nm in wave length. Newton was specially treated by the Creator ?) ? And how about the refraction of other electro magnetic waves ?

But, someone already wrote such a question may be.

[REPORT] In a book, i found a graph : "Outline of Change of Reflective Index in Wide Range". Graph's vertical axis is reflective index and horizontal axis is wave length (left end is long wave and right end is X ray). In the graph, reflective index forms several deep zigzag (like letter W), and on the whole, somewhat slants to the right (within visible ray's range, slants to the left).
